Re: Liver Flush and Acne
Your
Acne is getting worse because your body is detoxing and trying to get rid of the toxins that were probably in your liver. How is your diet? If you are still eating things that are putting toxins back into your body then you are defeating the purpose of trying to flush them out. You need to eat basically raw fruits and veggies (mostly non-starchy). Exercise is great but not high intense exercise, walking, swimming (I have a Tony Little Gazelle and I love it). You cannot eat any cooked oils. Tropical oils are the only ones that don't turn rancid and toxic when you cook them. I have used coconut oil for 6 months now and absolutely love it. I try to make sure I eat 3 tbsps a day and use it as a facial moisturizer and body lotion. It also is a great hair conditioner. It has a very bad rap but if you research it you will find that most bad things said about this oil are a myth. It is fabulous for your body. Try not to eat anything that packaged, they are all processed and have
preservatives . No junk, refind sugar, refind flour or white rice. Stay away from all dairy, breads and pastas. I normally eat a piece of fruit in the morning, raw veggies for lunch and stirfry veggies with coconut oil and serve it over brown rice. Drink a lot of water, 12 glasses a day or until your urine is pretty clear.
I highly suggest buying a book called
Acne No More and you can get it at acnenomore.com. It is a pdf file and is about 250 pages of how to holistically cure your acne. It will give you a two month regimen on how to totally detox your body...what vitamins/supplements to take, what foods to eat, info on cleanses and flushes, exercise, sleep, stress, cleaning the skin naturally, naturally face masks and tons of other really useful info. I have learned so much from this book and have applied a lot of the principals and it has helped my
Acne alot as far as amount, inflammation and healing. I will complete the full 2 month regimen starting mid july since I will have a few months where I will not have to travel or have any holidays. I have also heard good things about acupuncture. I hope some of this helps.
Good luck,
Melissa
