Re: DAY 4 of progesterone cream
I reluctantly began trying Zand Progesterone cream because everything else I tried didn't balance me. I'll tell you why. I was buying creams in a jar or tube, never getting the appropriate dose trying to measure it with a spoon. It's important that each time the cream is used, the dose is the same or you may experience problems.
Some people do experience that "reawakening of symptoms" briefly in the first to second month.
You have to remember that this isn't a quick fix. This does not work like taking synthetic hormones either. It is a process and it takes a little time for the body to respond naturally. So be patient with yourself. Keep a menstrual journal if you don't have one and get real familiar with your cycles. I write a little blip each day in it about my moods, my cervical mucous, and anything else needing to be noted.
It really helped put me in touch with my cycles.
From alot of what I have researched, I have read it can take up to 3 months for balancing to occur. Some women experience spotting between a period when they begin the cream, and then it goes away.
What worked for me is Zand. I noticed a difference in my moods the first cycle.
I'm still having cramping but its milder. It took me about 2 weeks of using the cream to see changes happen. Everyone's body is different, so it's hard to tell how or when it will respond.
If you are having a sensitivity to estrogen or phytoestrogens, don't use a product containing anything with phytoestrogenic herbs in it. Take a close look at your diet and if it's too much dairy or meat that has injected hormones, stop eating it.
I'll tell you that dairy contributed to my imbalance!
Good Luck & Peace
