Re: Does it get better with practice?
I think it gets significantly easier with practice. My
first two attempts were using lemon juice stirred in to
the olive oil. It doesn't really mix and is very difficult
to get down. Grapefruit juice mixes a bit better. I
shake it to make it mix better. Drinking through a straw
helps. Lay down immediately and stay that way as long
as possible. After an hour or so, I generally elevate my
head and shoulders to keep the nausea down.
I just finished #16, but I think most people get well with
fewer flushes. I can't say I always follow instructions.
I flush whenever I get that tight feeling preceding the
pain. Sometimes, I've fasted properly and sometimes not.
It doesn't make much difference for me regarding the number
of stones released. I think the tightness means stones
are ready to be released and it doesn't take much to
encourage them. A couple of times, the were released with
just
Epsom Salts and no oil. I could actually feel them
moving out.
