I am inclined to agree with Sofia on the father lesson thing.
If any of you followed the example given you would have been in a lot of trouble. who's kidding who.

the thing about the relationship is why cant he talk about it. he should be willing to for your best interest. i am sure it is painful and hard and uncomfortable for him but he should be willing to put you first own up to his mistake. he should go the extra mile so you have comfort. counsling is a very good idea. i hope he would be willing. consqueces of our actions sometimes suck but we have to take that responsiblity for it.
