Re: How do you know love?

Waiting until the right time and person to get married.. that is something i feel very strongly about. my dad made a few mistakes, and my mom ended up being his third wife. luckily for me they were meant to be, and 23 years down the road they are going strong as ever. I don't want to make mistakes like that, when i get married, i want to be 100% sure that this person is the one i'll be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with.

If i can get this whole 'love' thing, and myself figured out.. I feel certain that these things will fall into place, and i won't be agonizing over them anymore. but i don't want anybody to get hurt while i'm in this process, especially if it takes longer than i thought it would.

Well, we are best friends, and things are comfortable and familiar. I don't know if this is the reason i've stayed in the relationship either, or if it's more than that (that's the agonizing part..). I just hope i'm doing the right thing keeping the relationship together..
