I had an earlier post on this. I did not have good luck on using raw milk. Mine, I thought came out kind of sour and I ended up dumping it, just in case. I agree she is not real specific on how it should look or smell, etc. Since then I have been using yogurt to make the whey. It comes out really good and have good sucess with it. It is possible that temperature makes a difference. If you discover the trick, please let me know.
