Severe Gas - anyone else seen this?

I have been periodically waking up around 5:00 in the morning with fairly severe gas pains around the bottom of my rib cage both front and back. The pains seem to go away after I'm up for about 30 mins. I usually belch some as well.

I eat dinner around 6:00 the night before...

Anyone else had anything like this?
