dental question for dr.

hi doctor...
i have a temp bridge in the lower right quad. the back molor tooth hurts when i press on it and it shoots into a tmj pain.
my dentist did a deep tissue cleaning and said it might have to be root canalled, which i don't want any part of. the problem is if she pulls it i will have 2 teeth missing in the lower quad. will this make tmj worse? can i live without it bothering me??
i would really perfer it come out.
i know this tooth has to be infected or nerve damaged, it is shutting down my immune system and it gives me horrible anxiety/
racing heart, hives, and all sorts of stuff.
pls give me your advice.
