Cardiac Edema

I need help finding natural remedies for fluid retention due to cardiac disease, the fluid accumulates mainly in the abdomen and although my friend is currently on Lasix and digoxin there is still abdominal retention. We are trying to find natural remedies that can be taken to help eliminate this fluid. I wouild appreciate any guidance.
