Abnormal Nails

My girlfriend just showed me the nails on her left hand. She has these really wierd lines that go horizontal(ish) but curve the opposite way than her moons. She has about 3 lines on each nail of her left hand only. They are not ridges or dips, but almost look and feel like razor cuts - as if they have separated and raised. I'm really concerned. She didn't seem to be, but I am. She eats really well, with hardly any red meat, lots of fruits and veggies, and fish. Should I be as concerned as I am?
