The only mineral that we have seen pulled by the pads in any significant quantities is sodium. Most of us ingest too much sodium, and therefore it is often of benefit.
My suggestion is that with or without the pads, juicing raw, organic vegetables is the best way to receive our minerals and vitamins. Wheatgrass is excellent as well.
