Footpads & Iridology skeptical about trying em read here

Hi all!
I happened across an old thread on footpads and Iridology. I found it quite interesting and worth getting the going again.

I first stumbled across the idea of footpads in some other forum. I was reading up on something and read a post of someone I had respect for as being well informed and knowledgeable on a number of other points. This person mentioned footpads which I didn't know what were, but they sounded kinda like a bunch of hooey. But, since I had respect for the persons opinion I decided not to dismiss the comment and tried the pads, (with a cautious husband over my shoulder who graciously restrained his better sensibilities and said only: "just buy _one_ box, Honey").

The pads came and I tried them, as it happened, on a night when I had done a detox bath and was feeling quite unwell. I slapped those puppies on and in about a half an hour I was feeling less sick and could fall asleep. Though I still dreaded the “hex” morning I knew I was in for.
I woke up feeling great. Thought, ah- maybe I wasn’t really that sick after all.

What shocked me was looking in the mirror. My hazel eyes, which I have studied regularly since getting ready to begin my cleansing, (a project I started in June) had lost their brown flecks along the sides (overnight). Some were entirely gone, and the others were almost entirely gone, (The brown flecks at the bottom seemed fairly unchanged). I was dumbfounded.

I studied my eyes before all the cleansing because I was testing the theory or Iridology. Anyhow, as you might imagine, I ordered three more boxes of pads. I continued to see similar results over a period of about 1 box. Then I took some time off. Last night I used one again for the first time in a several weeks and my remaining spots shrank considerably. They are now very tiny. I wish I had taken photos of my eyes when I started, but I think I will do it today. Who knows, they may go all the way to blue, then I’d still have impressive photo’s. (When I was about four my eyes were blue. I don’t know exactly when they changed to green and later to hazel. Maybe 10 and 14 respectively. I’m super curious to see if they go blue—don’t want blue eyes, particularly as I like green, but it’d be worth it to be healthy.)

So that’s my footpad story.

I’m curious about this: I really don’t know much about Iridology. I only know that it is like reflexology in that the eye is like a map that corresponds to the wellness of the whole body. I saw a laminated Iridology map in a health food store, (my sole exposure to the subject [to date]), which prompted me to start observing. I’ve noticed when I use the pads--though my flecks get reduced-- my irises take on a yellow tinge for a few days. Any comments on that? Or similar stories?

Thanks for reading my post,
