Denture question

Dear Dr. Dan,
Is it possible for dentures (upper plate)to affect your sinuses?
I ask because it seems that mine do. The main symptom being
stuffiness in the nose and reduced ability to nose breathe.
Thing is it's not an every day occurance, and being a smoker also affects my sinuses.
