Help! going in for removal next week. Only one stone found.

I am supposed to have my gallbladder removed next monday. I just saw this website and am for the first time learning about self removal. I only have one stone and the doctor insist that the gallbladder needs to be removed. I also have a sist on my ovary that will be examined. I don't want to lose the gallbladder if people can really live with them. After reading some of these, it seems that others have many stones. MY Question: will cleaning get rid of the one stone? What should I do? HELP!
