Re: RE Condition of skin -- relationship to liver

The remarks made by Jasmine make a lot of sense regarding the relationship of the liver to skin condition.

I would encourage you to experiment with food to see what works best for you in terms of your overall health. Even though I am a Blood Type B and have tested as a fast metabolizer, I do better with less meat and fat and more carbohydrates than several nutritionists have recommended to me. A glucose tolerance test (used to determine the rate of oxidation) doesn't tell the whole story.

Experiment with different foods and ratios of protein/carb foods to see what you feel best on. You may find an extreme diet of meat and veggies the best or you could find a no meat diet best or anything in between. Same goes for the ratio of raw to cooked foods. For some, a high intake of raw foods makes them feel worse. Nutritional dogma doesn't help anyone. There are so many systems that are affected by the food we eat. Play with your food! Your body will tell you what it needs.

Kind Regards, Scott
