Your Naturopath will most likely guide you properly. However, if your kidneys are in fact involved, you must be very careful with the chelation protocol you choose, as some of them may place a heavy burden upon your kidneys and liver.
Mercury toxicity does contribute to Candida overgrowth, as the body uses (actually farms) the Candida to help it absorb some of the toxic byproducts. Usually, the Candida overgrowth will not subside until the mercury levels have decreased
