Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

I was diagnosed with HPV a few months ago. I am under the impression that HPV is the most common STD and it can be transmitted in many different ways, no just intercourse. My concern is the "genital wart" part of the virus. How often does a person that has HPV get warts and what are the symptoms of genital warts? I am experiencing soreness and irritability and I wanted to know if I should go to the doctor or wait it out. I thought it was because I have sex on a regular basis and it could be irritated from that, but I forgot that I have HPV and now I am worried that it turn into warts. YUCK! And if I do have warts are they curable? HELP! Tweet
