Amalgam Removal

Hello Dr. Vinograd,

I am about to have my 5 Amalgam fillings removed by a biological dentist trained by Dr. Huggins. My husband and I are planning on having another child. We were concerned about the removal of the Amalgams and the effect it would have on a fetus. Thus, we were curious to know how long after having Amalgam fillings removed, is it safe to attempt for another child?
