I can't seem to get the salt water flush to work consistently and it tastes just as bad IMO. I've been chugging the epsom as fast as possible to avoid tasting it so much and I leave off the fourth dose. It works fine with three. I may try to leave off the third next time just to see if it's really necessary to "move" me.
