Re: Saliva pH
I actually tasted these Innocent smoothies a few nights ago, as I felt compelled to accept something offered to me by my friend's wife... It was not bad - strawberry and banana I believe...
I think you are right about low mineral reserves. This was my first thought also, although after a diet high in minerals I was a little confused as to how this could occur. After some thought I realised that perhaps I have been cleansing far too often (fasting, flushing, blood purifying teas) when I may be better served rebuilding and possibly only flushing once per month. I read yesterday that saliva pH is indicative of the condition of the liver, also, which I found most interesting!
There is no doubt whatsoever that the lemon juice and blackstrap molasses diminished my tooth enamel. The grooves are evident where the drink washes against my two front teeth prior to being swallowed, and I feel that the acid/sugar combination has made them suffer. I began drinking the mix through a straw a few days ago...a little too late though, clearly! Apparently tooth enamel is demineralised and remineralised via the saliva, and is not influenced by the blood, so as long as I avoid the teeth I should still be able to ingest the mineral-drink...or so I surmise?
Never mind, everything can be rebuilt...
