Re: Mag Pulser
The Beck device (Sota MPG5) is a device that builds up a charge in a capacitor and then every 4 seconds releases it through a coil. It produces a temporary magnetic field of (~43,133 Gauss*), momentary for (~2.5mS). Very simple. Just a simple strong electric magnet that is on for only 2.5 milliseconds or .0025 seconds. The North and South poles of the magnet (coil) don't change because the current flows through the coil in the same direction each time.
The MPG5 is very simple. Just push the button and it starts pulsing every 4 or so seconds. It runs for 20 minutes then turns itself off.
The M-Pulse 5000 releases a pulse into a coil but it is an AC Pulse (Sine wave possibly). The pulse is at 5000 Hz. This means that the current going through the magnet reverses direction 10,000 times every second. This also means the North and South on the magnet (coil) change 10,000 times every second.
You have the option of choosing 1 - 2.5 pules per second with the M-Pulse 5000. Nothing else is adjustable, so it is very simple also.
I don't know which device is better. I bought the MPG5 because it was recommended, invented and tested on Bob Beck. I haven't used the M-Pulse 5000.
