Didn't Mohammed die of syphillis? Perhaps in his case, where evil prevailed (wonder why?) Garlic would have done him much good ;) While Garlic is problematic, it has also saved lives. Due to it's Antibiotic properties, it has been called "Russian Penicillin", and Dr. Richard Shulze uses it in his formulas. However, Dr. Bob Beck claims it was used to coat the tips of bullets in WWI and thus even a graze by a bullet laced with garlic juice allegedly would poison and kill the enemy.

Interesting debate, interesting information. Seems it needs more research for sure.
