Cancer Story

Hi All,

Below is a message just received from Nancy Keelan. Nancy is one of the
daughters of a good friend who was the executive officer of the LCI Gunboat
on which I served in WW II.

Nancy is a registered nurse. Some time back her father told me that she had
two rare, aggressive kinds of cancer and wanted me to send her the info on
Flaxseed Oil and Cottage cheese.

From time to time we are asked whether or not it is helpful to use the
Flaxseed Oil in connection with chemo and radiation.

This letter may therefore be of interest.

Dear Cliff,
This letter is long overdue. My father I hope has kept you updated on my
condition. I am doing well 3 month post-chemo and radiation. I felt I had
to do traditional medicine as well as not traditional being the mother of an
8-10 and 12 year old children. I wish I had the guts to say no to the
destructive treatments but I had to do what I did. I do believe in the
merits of flax oil and try to encourage all my friends to use it. It seems
there are more and more young people 38-48 being diagnosed with cancer it is
becoming an epidemic.
I continue to take between 2 and 3 tablespoons a day mixed either with
yogurt or cottage cheese, yogurt being my preference. I listened to your
tape and realize cottage cheese is the preferred protein to mix the flax
oil with but I find yogurt goes down much easier.
I have to say the only problems I have are directly related to the radiation
and chemotherapy invading my bone marrow. I had continued the flax oil
throughout all my treatments and I believe the doctors were amazed at how
well my blood counts continued throughout my treatments. I never missed a
treatment and never required epogen to boost my counts.
I can only hope that by continuing my flax oil I will remain disease free.
An incidential benefit I believe has come to our son Patrick who has some
learning disabilities. He had been on Ritalin for one year after much
pressure from the school and his teachers. After one year we took him off
Ritalin and started the Flax Oil. Patrick is now consistently bringing home
90's in every subject, and the teachers are not complaining about his
inattention. Quite remarkable I feel.
I hope this letter finds you well. I thank you for all the information you
have sent to me and my dad. My father looks great, I believe in part to the
flax oil.
I also give a teaspoon to our dog and her coat is beautiful.
