Fruity breakfast

Here i have 2 recipes that i have been using for 3 weeks now. I eat this for breakfast (not both at the same time, just one of them). These are complete meals (fat+carbs+protein). The smoothie even helps with my bowel movements, i get one about 30-60 minutes after drinking it! And it happens every day. Here they are :

Fruit smoothie :
----------------

juice of half a lemon or lime
half an avocado (use a spoon to scoop it out)
1 apple (peeled & sliced up)
1 banana (peeled & sliced up)
1 scoop protein powder
a little cinnamon powder
a little sea-salt
12 oz. water

DIRECTIONS: Pour water into container (i use a Rubbermaid Servin' Saver 850ml). Juice lemon/lime into water. Ok, i use a hand blender, so i put the blender in the water first, then put the ingredients over it. If you put the food in before the blender, you won't be able to stick it inside after, lol. So, put the blender inside first, then put the sliced apple pieces in. Pour the protein powder over the apples evenly (i use a natural flavoured one, i don't want any artificial sweeteners). Put the cinnamon and salt over the protein. Put the avocado pieces in. The sliced banana goes in last. I use a frozen banana, so that way it cools the entire drink, so i don't have to use ice. If you prefer to use a non-frozen banana, you should place the container with water in the freezer for a while before making the smoothie, so some ice will form in the water. Don't drink the whole thing all at once, it's too much! I sip on it slowly over a period of 5 minutes or so. I tried replacing the apple with other fruits (2 kiwi's, 1 cup strawberries, 1 pear), but apple tastes the BEST. But i still do replace it for variety.

Creamy Fruit :
--------------

1 spoonful honey
half an avocado
1 banana (peeled and sliced thin)
1 scoop protein powder
some cinnamon
some sea-salt
little water

DIRECTIONS: I didn't know what else to call this, i made it up myself, lol. Take a plate, and a spoonful of honey (i use manuka). Smear the honey over the inside of the plate (a little water makes it easier). Place the avocado pieces in the plate, and mash them with the spoon. Place the banana (thin slices) in the plate now. Again, i like to use a frozen banana. Why? Because the meal will be like ice-cream, lol. And the hot weather is arriving. I haven't tried making this with a warm banana, but maybe a warm one would be good when it gets cold (winter). Place the banana slices in, and mash them also. Now, pour the protein powder over the plate evenly. Now pour the cinnamon over evenly, then salt. Now we need a little water, to dissolve the protein powder. Put in some water (not too much), and start stirring. What you want is a thick creamy texture. If you need more water add more, but not too much. We're not making soup, lol. When you're finished stirring, it's time to eat! The frozen banana cools the whole meal. Who needs ice-cream when you got this, lol.

I usually drink the smoothie on weekdays, and i have the "creamy fruit" on weekends. The smoothie is really filling, but the "creamy fruit" isn't that much (it's a small portion). But i eat some other fruit on weekend mornings, then follow it with "creamy fruit". But if you're really hungry, you can use twice the amount of the ingredients, and that should fill you up, lol. Enjoy!
