You seem to be well educated on this subject, that's for sure! It's funny too, that I wrote Bush (right after 9/11) saying he should beware of a possible coalition of countries that might join together to fight America in the middle east. Maybe I was thinking too small. I also remember telling Bush he had the whole worlds sympathy right after 9/11, and that he should use it to unite the world, but what did he do? What a fool! He basically declared war on the world instead. He became his enemy. That is what happens if you go down one road too far condemming something. You become the condemned yourself. That is what I was trying to get you to be aware of. In your case it would be obsessed by the evil in the world, but it sounds like you're pretty grounded too.
I know the U.S. is hated all over the world, and I can't say it shouldn't be. I speak to a few people all over the world, and they say the same. They hate Bush. Fortunatly by me talking to them, they know Americans aren't all like Bush. I would be ashamed to say I'm American if I was in a foreign country, and probably would claim to be from Canada ehh. My wife and I were saying about the only place it would be ok to say you're from the U.S. in would be the U.K., Canada, and Australia, and it would be nothing to be proud of like so many Americans claim.
My wife and I were talking last night relating how Bush is like Bin Laden with his twisted view of Christianity, and Bin Laden's twisted view of Islam, and they both go around the world promoting their beliefs in non-religious ways.
So I'm wondering what your plans are for the upcomming events about to take place in the world in your opinion? It seems like where you're located, you'd have a front row seat to some pretty nasty stuff going on at the time too.
