the plant based stuff is more potent, but it is the fast-acting ascorbic acid powder that one would pack into the wound and mix and swallow in 10 gram increments. there is a formula for making an injectable form, too, but i dont remember it right off hand. its out there on the web. point is, you cant overdose on it. researchers have darn near packed the veins of rats injecting it intraveinously and they still live. i know of people taking 50 grams in a day. thats 50,000 milligrams! thats 100 of the 500mg tablets. it will neutralize any poison in your system. i was on a monofruit orange diet for several weeks and went to the dentist. mistake! the novacaine was neutralized before it could effect the nerves. after three shots we gave up and i had them drill anyway! yep. it hurt. but it was worth it to get my mercury fillings out!
