The parable of the good Sumaritan tells a story by Jesus of a man beaten and robbed by robbers and then left half dead. A priest passed and did not offer to help, also another man. But a Sumaritan who was of a different origin then the man hurt, decided to stop and help him.

The Sumaritan showed love for this hurt man, although he did not even know him. This is an example of loving your nieghbor.
