Re: On Prophecy - real and fake
Dear Ogla
I read Alikat’s post with great attention.
Her words are profound. I agree with her 100%
Her words have touched something inside me.
This is very clear:
So how do we know the real from the fake? The real always aligns with the Word of God in context, Spirit, goal and purpose. The real does not magnify the messenger affording him a forum for applause. It usually brings hope to the listener that God is working all things out in their life according to His purposes. It is not a gossipy revelation about the color of hair in a future mate, but larger purposes in God. The real aways brings Glory to God, none to any man, without diminishing man other than to convict of sin, and this never in an accusatory or embarrassing manner before others.
If we are Christians, we need to know the word of God in context, Spirit, goal and purpose.
So, my question is: are you Christian?
Because we may disagree in little details here in this forum, but in the deep foundation we share the love for God and our souls desire for praise Him.
So, we trust GOD, we follow him. AND at the end he protects, and guides us. BECAUSE JESUS SAID:
John 10
14"I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me-- 15just as the Father knows me and I know the Father--and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life--only to take it up again. 18No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."
So we are HIS sheep, and when we hear his voice we recognize Him.
Love to all.
