Hinduism, gnosticism, Mormonism, all Babylonian Mystery religions with elitist castes and secret dogma, believe man can become god. Hindus have three million of 'em. The elite Temple Mormons partake of secret temple rites, like the baptism of the dead. There are no secret doctrines or secret rites in Christianity. Mormonism is a wolfish sheep suit tailored out of Christian jargon.

A dog is a dog. A dog cannot change its God-given animal nature. Man is man. Man cannot become a god. God, Who created us in His image and likeness, saw fit to take on the nature of man as God-Man, an easy fit with His divine nature. It was God's gracious will, that Messiah should become obedient unto death, positionally making Himself a mere man, subservient to Abba.

If man can become a god just as Lucifer, the Father of lies and murder, promised, then God would not be God. It would have been ungodly, that is, against the divine nature of God, to have unjustly expelled Adam and the Woman from the Paradise of Pleasure for seeking to become gods like Lucifer, as he claimed. The Sin of Adam for which the Second Adam atoned with His life was eating of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge (gnosos) of good and evil.

The Jews were willing to stone Jesus for claiming He was God. Why would Jews have done this if their very writings conveyed the Mormon-esque doctrine that man could become god? Mormons are not going to be gods and goddesses in outer space with their father god, the one who was knocking boots with "Mary," mother of "Jesus," spirit brother to Lucifer.

Mormonism is a soul-murdering lie. Christians are counseled to reject foreign, non-apostolic doctrine, whether from men or angels; whether from Joseph Smith or the Angel Moroni. Christ plainly promised to return for His Bride, the Church, to unite with man, not make him a god. Christ's Second Coming is non-optional.

Christians join the family of God as ingrafted and adopted Jews; heirs of the Jewish Christ's Passover fulfillment of the law and the prophets; and His institution of the New and Eternal Covenant; all because of God's long promised blessing to the Gentiles through the Chosen People. This blessing is offered to all through the reception of kinship with the God-Man, Who is not Lucifer's spirit brother. Thanks be to God! Tweet
