chelation therapy oral or iv

My mother has high cholesterol- 300-,She hears a loud heartbeat in her ear, this is very frightening to her as it has been going on now for a year,24/7.WE guessing that there could be a narrowing in the CORITED artery.We want to get started on chelation therapy.
Can you tell us in your oppinion what are the advantages oral verses iv. and how to get started.
There is not a Dr. in her area that practices chelation therapy. {WASHINGTON DC- MARYLAND AREA] that we can find. Any information,or suggestions would be appriciated.
