People do NOT become 'immune' to psyllium! It's not a drug or a laxative. It's a soluble fiber and just works it's way through your system physically. Simple as that.
What works for constipation is....
1. Relieving stress
2. Upping WARM water intake, daily. Most people are chronically dehydrated
3. Eating good, unprocessed foods.
4. Eating one raw food meal a day.
5. Ingesting a 'good oil' (flax seed, olive oil, castor oil...) daily.
6. Movement. Rebounding, jogging on the spot, dance - movement of some sort.
7. Cleansing WITHOUT Laxatives (which one can become dependent on)
8. Starting your day with two mugs of WARM water with lemon. Water water water!
