Re: Ceragem beds - massage / infrared heat
When we bought ours, the folks who run the store said that we
should use it at minimum once a day and preferably twice (while
drinking lots of water). Realistically I don't use it every day
because there are too many other things I'm doing as well.
If the Ceragem is all I had, then perhaps I would use it every day.
Interestingly, my 18-year-old daughter uses it more than any of us.
It helps relax her in the evenings after a hard days work.
Yes, I would say that it's the infrared heat that is the key to these
beds. This kind of heat penetrates deep into the tissue. I think also
the infrared heat applied to the acupucture points along the back are
important. This combination I think is what brings the benefit.
Clear, as you point out, the pressue alone is not what a real person
could do.
I would suggest that if you go for a number of sessions, maybe a couple
times a week. If you notice any improvements then it might be worth
continueing and eventually forking over the $2400 for your own. Otherwise
maybe not.
You could also try a TENS unit for back pain (see
http://www.bodyclock.net).
