FOOD and the Role of Enzymes

Natural food, organic food, supermarket food, and restaurant food:
it really doesn't matter where you acquire the food you eat, what
does matter is how intelligent your choices are and the quality of
the food you put into your body. A variety is of the utmost import
ance since different nutrients and enzymes are found in different
foods.

When we consume any food, the enzymes gear up and go to work,
they break the food down into bits and pieces and then into smaller
and smaller sub-units until the food has reached a size that can be
absorbed into circulation and transported to the cell.

Our grandparents were actually healthier than we are today.
Almost all the foods they ate were in their wholesome natural form
and contained an excellent level of enzymes. We are living longer
because medical Science helps keep us alive longer.

THE CELL, ALL ROADS LEAD HERE

The cell is a biochemical factory that utilizes raw materials to
manufacture products that are utilized by the body to operate the
body. The human body contains over 200 trillion cells performing
over 1,000 chemical reactions every second. The list of products
produced by the cell includes hormones, energy, fat, glucose, etc.

There are five major factors that determine the quality of the final
product and how it will be utilized.
(1).....The quality of the raw materials that the cell has access to.

(2).....Your lifestyle and factors that affect the efficiency of the cell

(3).....The efficient breakdown of the raw materials you consume
(enzymes available)

(4).....Absorption of raw materials once they are broken down
(small intestines)
(5).....Transport to the cells (fluid movement)

When the cell doesn't get the quality raw materials it needs it has
to utilize a poor quality material and produces poor quality products.
Another factor is that the cell may not get adequate materials
because of poor absorption and tell your brain to send more nutrients
leading to too high a caloric input and subsequent overweight.

Enzymes are responsible for functions in the body such as digesting
food, building bones and tissues and aiding in detoxification. Many of
today's food allergies stem from the lack of certain enzymes.

The cell possesses what is called "cellular intelligence" and knows just
what raw materials it needs to produce a specific product. The cell also
knows where to send that product so that it can be utilized efficiently.

WEIGHT CONTROL & ENZYMES PLAY A VERY IMPORTANT ROLE
IN ASSISTING THE BODY TO CONTROL ITS WEIGHT IN 3 WAYS:

(1) Assist in breaking down foods so that they can be utilized
and delays hunger.
(2) The more food you are able to burn efficiently, the more heat
the body produces, thus increasing your metabolic rate.
(3) When fats and carbohydrates are broken down efficiently,
they can be more easily utilized instead of being stored
as fat in cells.

IMMUNE SYSTEM & ENZYMES By maintaining your body in optimum
health, the immune system will be at its strongest and able to fight
disease that enters the body more efficiently. People who are always
getting colds and seem to be sick all the time have an inefficient immune
system. They smoke, consume too much alcohol, don't believe in
supplements, hardly ever exercise and have poor diet. Enzymes are
important and can really assist in making a person healthier.
