Re: Infarred sauna some good info please read!
I searched for quite sometime before I bought my
FIR (Far-Infrared-Sauna) sauna, and finally bought one from Sunlight Saunas. They had the best quality for the best price. You didn't have to pay extra for the ceramic heaters, theirs are constant on (instead of on and off with the temperature) you don't have to pay extra for the glass door, and they have more heaters in their units than the other ones I looked at. It cost me about $2600 with shipping though, we took out a loan to buy it. But I love it! And think it was worth every penny...:) My mom and dad usually come down and use it twice a week too, it really helps both of their kidneys. They have multiple
Amalgams in their mouths and it is really good for mercury detox, probably another reason it helps them. My dad has
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and he says he doesn't see how I use it right before I go to bed because it energizes him so. And it makes both of us (insomniacs) sleep soooo much better!! He and I both noticed that immediately. It's also great for sciaticia problems, it cleared mine up very quickly. I think they are a wonderful thing to have, but they are pricey...
Raider, check with some gyms and yoga or pilate centers, sometimes they have
FIR (Far-Infrared-Sauna) saunas instead of the normal steam saunas. A local gym here has a
FIR (Far-Infrared-Sauna) and it is just a little town of 3000 so surely you could find something out in California. :)
