Advice please

I was just wanting your advice on vaccinating my child. He is almost 5 months old and we've only had one set of vaccinations plus his newborn vax. The way they treated him was what really got me looking into them (making me hold him down while they jabbed needles into his theighs). Also, I know my brother didn't vax his kids.

I have already received a religious exemption from the state just to buy my some time until I decide how I really feel about them. I know that vax can cause some serious problems if not death but aren't there still diseases that could do worse? Like whooping cough, polio, Hep. Also, my husband is really furious with me for not gettings his shots. His motto is "everyone else is doing it so why can't we be normal" (I'm a bit crunchy too and that furiates him as well). I am just wondering what is really worse...the vaccines or him gettng one of those horrible diseases.

Just wanting your advice and opinions.
