I'm new to the issue, but I get the impression you don't need to worry about oxalate if you eat a diet with broad variety. It's only people like me who try to live on 2 or 3 foods who tend to get into trouble. I've been living on broccoli, sunflower seeds, and spinach. I researched it and there didn't seem to be any nutrients missing from that diet, so I thought I was OK, but I didn't find out what ELSE was in there.
Did you notice that the USDA text info I posted lists tomatoes as high-OA, but then in the list it has a very low number? Hmmm...
