Yes, I believe Bush and his cronies are untouchable because Bush is everything the CIA ever dreamed for. When the agent got outed (remember - back in July) you didn't hear a murmur. The agent's husband remained truly pissed-off and wouldn't shut up about it. Finally, the (as usual) slow thinking Dems saw an opportunity to embarass the Bushies - where it hurt... national security. I do believe that the administration's efforts to pin the State of the Union snafu on the CIA angered many of the old-timers, but after 9-11 , with so much truth being withheld, no one really wanted to start a leakage contest. I will venture to say that the losers in this sad dilema will be the superior career diplomat, his agent wife and the American public. It seems that self-preservation has a far higher priority than honor in Foggy Bottom... Surprised about that, are you? Tweet
