you know, your statement answered a lot of questions i've had about americans and their inability for independent deductive reasoning. i'm just as guilty of watching a whole bunch of TV myself, though i usually choose something on TLC or PBS, of a foreign flick on the independent channel. i can't stand ANY of the "reality TV" shows, and if i want news, i usually get it on-line from foreign papers (sweden, france, england). but people seem to like what wolf blitzer has to say...
