i like dean a lot, and as i'm getting to know more about clark, i'm almost inclined to say that he'd make a better front runner than dean. he seems charismatic and very knowledgeable, and has an impeccable background, which would be VERY challenging to dispute come debate time next year. clark/dean as a team would be an amazing freight train to watch out for/cheer for, depending whose side you're on.
i know many people, at this point, feel "ANYONE but bush", but the fact is, that's how bush himself came to office - people wanted "ANYONE but the clintons", so, even though the voting count ended and the supreme court laid down their final ruling, look what we ended up with. people wanted a change, and they got it, but it wasn't for the better. i guess my point is, "be careful what you wish for". a dynamic team like clark/dean, who seem to have the power to bring about some much needed positive change, could be easily overlooked simply because people are afraid of the unknown. they apparently have become familiar with the pain the bush regime has created, and are comfortably numb, taking it to the polls, knowing who'll be in office. the race is on, and the only real losers would be the american people, should they choose to hand over the winning ticket to bush for another 4 years of flogging...
