possibly why worms burn
I was just reading a post by Hayley - and she's had them too. I posted some info the first time it happened - back a few pages (titled: An Unconventional Parasite Spotting?).
The first one woke me up in the middle of the night - the inside of my right wrist was burning and I put some coco oil on a red curved spot.
The next morning, it was extended - an upside down "J". The long stem was about 1/2" and dotted-line red, eventually progressing to a solid line, while the short curved part was burned and actually scabbed over.
A few nights later while I was meditating, it happened on my left hand - redness, itching, then burning, and about 1/2 hour later a sore that was already scabbed over.
It's happened a few times - always on my hands - which were looking very nasty for a while, not to mention I added a few paper cuts, slammed my finger in a door, and cut myself with a knife. PRETTY!
Hayley thought they exited. I do not think so. In fact, in the few days since I've been absent from the forum, that long J one rather "reappared." No burning or itching, but I swear the long red stem showed up again (either that or I put the wrong mushrooms on my salad!).
My guess? The die off symptoms include people smelling or breathing or burping ammonia. I imagine if they are looking for an "out" - like if we were under water drowning? (okay - far fetched, never mind) - they "surface" and the same thing that causes that ammonia-y effect is what burns the skin.
And we thought that song from grade school:
The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out
In your mouth and out your snout
only applied to DEAD bodies! LOL
Oh, by the way - have a GREAT lunch everyone!
