I'd like to add my two cents here because I have seen live ones.
After we took the medicine, it was really hard to see the dead worms unless you knew what you were looking for or they were big worms. They're carried out in a bowel movement so they're covered up, not sitting right on top. My daughter had both pinworms and another type of worm that was maybe 2 inches in length. I only saw one that was big. The pinworms look like little specks of ivory in your poop depending on the position of the worm. Sometimes it looked like little stout hairs sticking out. Sometimes it looked like rice was mingled in the stool. I mean you really have to look to see it.
I have become a poop expert in less than a month! LOL
