I just posted this on a couple of other forums, but believe it also belongs here.
Around a month ago my granddaughter (aged 20) said the doctor wanted to remove her gall bladder. I suppose because of stones. She asked me if I knew any way to avoid the surgery. "Why certainly, I do ! !" was my reply. I gave her enough castor oil to make a pack to place over the gall bladder and a heating pad. Told her to do it for one hour a day for a week. That was on sunday. The next Friday she returned to the doctor. He said that her gall bladder had cleared up and did not need the surgery after all.
