Re: Castor Oil is NOT a smooth muscle stimulant IMHO

castor oil shld not be taken internally. It will prevent the absorption of vitamins and nutrients you need, and flush out the good oils along w/everything else.

what it does do is have a leeching effect on toxins -- which is why you need to replace/change/clean you oil packs. Castor oil is said to penetrate up to four inches into your body (depth). It was/is an old fashioned treatment for cancer. I think it does have some effect on belly fat but I'm not exactly sure why ... However, I think you are right about internal cleansing and getting rid of certain dietary factors such as gluton and/or dairy products such as cheese. For some people, if not all people, these foods cause horrid bloating and I have no doubt they muck up the works and make it easy for less than desirable stuff to accumulate in the abdomen/belly area. Even if you tolerated these foods as a young person, it is not unusual for you to become allergic or oversensitive to them as adults.
