I'm glad I found this forum. I could write a book about my experiences with Doctors and emergency rooms. In 1989, I was experiencing some gas in my stomach so I thought I should get a check up. I went to a doctor who ordered an X-ray. He said it showed a growth on one of my ovaries and he suggested I see an Gynecologist. I did and he said he would remove the growth and do a biopsy to see if it was cancerous. After the operation, I was informed that he did a complete hysterectomy on me. He took out both ovaries and my uterus without my permission. I was so angry. It took me longer to recuperate because of the emotional trauma. I was afraid to go back to him for a check up. Later I looked at my medical records and discovered he had forged my signature. When I got well, I started picketing in front of his office and I went in to see him. I told his patients sitting there what he had done to me. He called me into his office. He had the nerve to tell me he saved my life because I could get cancer in the organs he took out. He then gave me a death sentence and said I have 3 to 7 years to live. I was livid with anger. I went to the hospital where he was on the staff and made a formal complaint. I went to see an Attorney but before we could do anything he moved. He was no longer at the hospital or at his office. He still has his license but I don't know where he is. The California Medical board and medical establishment protects Doctors and won't divulge information on them. I don't trust Doctors. They're after the insurance money and that's all.
