I suppose, being so early in the relationship, you and her have not established an understanding yet. Thus, she seems to be upset at a situation that you would not expect. She maybe making an issue out of this because she relates it to abondonment?
Keep talking with her and find out what makes her tick. Everyone can be rather quirky to us unless we know them well.
