Voting should (nay, must) be removed as it lends to ill-feeling and is more often than not misleading (and misleading the sick is potentially very dangerous).

Indeed, but a negative vote or two is hardly likely to warn people of misinformants or misleading advice. The decent thing for anyone to do after witnessing harmful and/or biased information is to speak up, not to facelessly click no and feel their humanitarian duty is done. A cowardly statement (if it is a statement at all) void of explanation is utterly worthless.
