Re: The Stereotypes "Joke"

Dear Lori, I apologize if I hurt or offended you in any way by asking that the thread below your joke be hidden. I was not the least upset by the joke, in fact I have received it in E-mails before and was familiar with it. I can see how it could offend some people who immediately get upset at anything not 100% politically correct, but I have found other jokes aimed at putting down Christians and degrading women to be far more offensive and they remained in the Jokes Forum.
The reason I asked for the entire thread to be removed from view (even when I was asking for deletion I knew that was the wrong term)was the anger and venom in the responses. Curezone seems to be in a very fragile state right now. There is so much anger and name calling. I don't know what is going on and am about ready to leave for a while. Still, there is so much wonderful advice and so many good people here that I like to call friends, I hate to go. Anyway, that is my dilemma, not yours. I just wanted to apologize if I caused you any grief and say it wasn't you, but the anger that resulted from the joke that made me send the alert. Tweet
