Re: Mucous in throat

Dear Manjunath,

Mucus in the throat is caused by mucus-forming foods and beverages, such as milk, yoghurt (+lassi) cheese, meat, fish, eggs, hot spices, especially chili pepper, rich sauces as in "Vegetable Korma" soda drinks, alcoholic beverages, certain nuts such as peanuts, nut butters, fried food, etc. By ommitting or similar foods you will find the body does no longer need to produce the mucus in order to trap and remove the toxins generated by them. The mucus lining is present from the mouth to the anus and these foods aggrevate it. The mucus tends to move upward into stomach, oesaphagus, throat and chest, and oftentimes the sinus cavities, as well as ear canals (auditory ducts) and eyes.

With best wishes,
Andreas
