They were still able to do it laparoscopically, fortunately.. I think laparoscopic surgery is played-down quite a bit, though. The recovery hasn't been as simple and painless as they said it'd be.

I completely identify with that 'failure' feeling you mentioned.. I'm really disappointed that I had the surgery. I'm not one for cutting out organs at the first sign of a problem..

Have you had an ultrasound? Do you know how big your stones are?
