I've only been cleansing for 2-3 weeks, and the only psyllium my local health food store had was whole husk.
It seems to be working for me. I haven't passed any long rope-like things, but I have noticed a difference in stools.
I'm normally pretty regular, and my stools tend to be solid but soft. However, shortly after using the P&B, I noticed I was passing some really old-looking shrivelled stuff.
And that's with the whole husk psyllium.
